No.F 3-871201l/Home-2.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 357-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (No. 2 of 1974), the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Victim Compensation Scheme-20ll,namely :-
AMENDMENT
In Schedule of the said scheme,-
l. In clause 5, after sub-clause (l), the following shall be added, namely:-
"(a) Interim relief- the compensation for interim relief to a victim of mob lynching, shall be paid upon enquiry under clause 5 within 30 days from the date of incident which shall be equal to 25oh of the compensation payable as per Schedule- A."
2. In clause 5, after sub-clause (5), the following shall be added, namely:-

"(a) The compensation to be paid to the victim of mob lynching or to its dependents shall be payable according to Schedule- A."
3. In Schedule, serial number 4 and 5 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 4. After Schedule, the following shall be added, namely:- *SCHEDULE.A

Accident Claim Cases Note- (l) If any kind of loss is suffered by a minor in the incident of mob lynching, then 50% additional relief will be given under this scheme.
(2) If victim/dependents are eligible for compensation under more than on head in Schedule- A then the reliefamount granted shall be equal to the sum total ofamount under such heads.
(3) The actual cost of treatment or free treatment shall be given to the victim /dependents of the victims by the Government.
(4) Legal Aid shall be provided to the victim of the incident of mob lynching.
