An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj' Adhiniyam, 1993
(No.1of 1994).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Seventieth Year of the
Republic oflndia, as follows :-
1. (l) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj (Sanshodhan) Short title, extent Adhiniyam,2,l9. I

@ It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh.
(3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the OfficialGazette.
2. InSection2of theChhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 (No. lof 1994), Amendment of (hereinafterreferredto as the PrincipalAdhiniyam), clause (xiii-a) shall be omitted. Section 2' 3. In Section l3ofthe PrincipalAdhiniyam,-
Amendment of section 13.
(1) the proviso of clause (ii) of sub-section (4) shall be omitted; and
@ the proviso of sub-section (6) shall be omitted.
