NOTIFICATION
No.lPanch.-3O7|PGIW/22120191458. - The following further draft amendment in the Chhattisgarh Gram Panchayat (Term of Office of Members of Standing Committee and Procedure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994 which the State Government proposes to make, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of Section 95 read with Section 43 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 (No. l, of 1994), is hereby, published as required by sub-section (3) of Section 95 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into consideration after the expry of fifteen days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazelle.
Any objection or suggestion regarding the said draft received from any person, before the specified period during office hurs by tfre office of the Deputy Secretary, Department of Panchayat and Rural bevelopment, Government of Chhattisgarh, Room No. 5-1-17, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Nawa Raipur, Atal Nagar, shall be considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
DRAFT AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
l. In rule 3, in sub rule (l), after the word "Pancho", the symbol and words "/ Members of Gram Sabha" shall be substituted.

3. In rule 3, in sub rule (2),-
(i) in second proviso, for the symbol full stop "." the symbol colon ":" shall be substituted; and (ii) after the second proviso, the following shall be added, namely :-
"Provided further also that the number of members in the Gram Gauthan Samiti will be determined by the State Govemment or the authority authorized by it."
