NOTIFICATION
No.F.4-47lSeven-l/2019.-[n exercise of the powers conferred iy ,ru- section (l) of Section 258 read with section 59 of the chhattisgarh Land Revenue code, 1959 (No.20 of 1959), the state Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Notificatio4 No. 175-6477- VII-N (Rules ),dated 6th, January,l960 regarding alteration of assessment of Annual Land Rent and imposition of premium, for the purpose of recovery of annual land Rent in any town or village in the state of chhattisgarh on diversion of any agricultural land other than the land specified in proviso of sub-section (5) of Section 59 of the said code for non-agricultural purposes, the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (3) of Section 258 of the said code, namely :-

In the said rules,-
For rules 5, 6, "1,8, 9, 10,11 and 12, the followiirg shall be substituted, namely :-

6. In fixing the acfual assessment, the area of plot measuring less than 5 square meter shall be taken to be 5 square meter, ln other cases areas up to 5 square meter shall be ignored, and areas exceeding 5 square meter but below 10 squie meter shall be taken as 10 square meter. The assessment shall be correct to the nearest rupees.

7. A bhumiswami /lessee upon payment of the amount of annual land rent fixed for non-agricultural purpose for 15 years together, shall be exernpted from the payment of land rent for the forth coming 15 Year (from 16 th year to 30 th year).
8. As per the provisions of Section 92 and, Section 98 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 (No.20 of 1959), the Annual Land Rent shall be revised after every thirty years of assessment in urban area."
