No. F l0-l22Food/2010/29-1. - The following draft amendment in the Chhattisgarh Legal Metrolory (Enforcement) Rules 2011, which the State Government proposes to make, after consultation with the central Govemment in exercise ofthe powers conferredby Section 53 ofthe Legal MetrologyAct,2009 (No. I of20l0), is hereby published as required under sub-section (4) of Section 53 of the saidAct for the inforrration of all persons likely to be affected thereby notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into consideration after the expiry ofthirty days from the date of its publication ofthis notification in the Offrcial Gazette.
Any objection or srggestion regarding the said draft received from any person before the specified period during offrce hours by the office of the Secretary, Departrnent of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Government of Chhattisgarh, Room Number S- I i I 9, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralayq Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, District- Raipur shall be considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
DRAFT AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
l. In rule 11, in sub-rule (4), for the words "two years", the words "five years" shall be substituted.
2. In Schedule-IV, for serial number (i), (ii) and (iii), the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"(i) Manufacturer Rs 5000 (ii) Repairers Rs2000 (iii) Dealers Rs 1000"
3. For Schedule-Vl, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
