No. 52/2020lSDR/Vol.I.- In pursuance of the provisions of clause (c) of Section-60 ofthe Representation of the People Ac t, lgsl,the Election Commission hereby specifies that the Covid- 19 suspect or affected persons, certified by competent authority,who request for voting by postal ballot paper, would be a class of persons to give vote by postal tattot in ttre forthcoming general election to the Legislative assembly of Bihar and bye-elections in several states, to be notifed under Section 30 of Representation of the People,lg5l, as per the provisions in Part-I[ A of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended vide Minisry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India, Notification SO No. 3786 (E), dated 22nd October,Z}l9, and the directions and guidelines issued by the Election Commission.
