THE' CHHATTISGARH RAJYA AI'IUSUCHIT JANJATI AYOG (SANSHODHANI AD HTNTYAM, 2O2O
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Rajya Anusuchit Janjati Ayog Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 24 of 1995).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Seven$-First Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
$hort title, L. {U This Act may be called the"Chhattisgarh Rajya e:rtent and Anusuchit Janjati Ayog (Sanshodhan) commencement'

{2\ It shall extend to the whole State of
Chhattisgarh.
t3) It shall come into force from the date of its
publication in the O{ficial Gazette.
Amendment of Z, For clause (a) of sub-section {2) of Section 3 of Section 3. tJ:e Chhattisgarh Rdya Arrusuchit Janjati Ayog
Adhiniyam (No. 24 of 1"995), {hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), the following shall be
substituted, namely:-
"{a} Six non official members who have special knowledge in the matters relating to Sched"uled Tribes of whom
one shall be the Chairperson and one ,&{io lsry2ozo lolr (3) shall the Vice Chairperson to be
appointed by the State Government:
Provided tleat at least four members including the Chairpersoir and
Vice Chairperson, shall be from amongst
the Scheduled Tribes."

Amendurent of For sub-sdction (1) of Section 4 of the
Seetion 4.
Act, the following shall be substituted,
"(1) Chairperson, Chairperson and
every member shall hold office, from tlle date on u*rich he assumes the office, during the pleasure of the State
Government."
