In the said rules,-
For clause (b) of sub-rule (l) of rule 2, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
settlement to the urban poor;
- (No. {{^{{FOOTNOTE 15}}}} of {{^{{FOOTNOTE 1984}}}}), the State Government, hereby, makes the following amendment in the Chhattisgarh Nagariya Kshetron Ke Bhoomihin Vyakti (Pattadhriti Adhikaron Ka pradan Kiya Jana) Rules, 2019, namely:- AMENDMENT *(b) {{^{{FOOTNOTE *}}}}Area" means such Government land of a slum that has been declared by the urban body for Explanation: Such areas that existed on the date mentioned in Section 3 of the Act, but, for whatever reason, have not been declared by the urban body for settlement to the urban poor, th9 urban body may any time declme for settlement to the urban poor for the purposes of ifrese rules."
