Biswal, the thenAGM & HOD & Eight Others Executives,Non-Executives, C&M Stores Department, LSTTP, NTPC Ltd, Village - Lara, Distt. Raigarh (C.G.), lodged by the General Manager (Vigilance), NTPC Ltd., Head Oflice, New Delhi to the Supdt. of Police, CBI, ACB, Chhattisgarh, Raipur (C.G.).

In suppression of earlier Notification No. F 4-7 fi7ome-c/2020 dated27 -05-2020 issued by Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Nava Raipur and in pursuance ofthe provisions contained in Section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment (DSPE) Act, ¹⁹⁴⁶ (I'{o. XXV of ¹⁹⁴⁶) read with Section 2l ofthe General ClausesAct, 1897 (No. X of 1897), the Government of Chhattisgarh, hereby, accords consent to extension of powers and jurisdiction of members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment for the investigation ofthe offences alleged in the complaint vide Ref. No. 0lNiglLarall658 dated 29-11- ^{20 19} lodged by General Manager (Vigilance), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd., Head Office, New Delhi regarding shortage/misappropriation of Steel and Cement items worth Rs. 1,00,55,576l-(approx.) atLara Super Thermal Power Plant (LSTPP), NTPC Ltd., Village -Lara,District Raigarh (C.G.), against Shri B.P. Biswal, Ex-AGM & HOD; Shri B.N. Prasad, Ex-DGM; Shd S.N. Mandal, DGM; Shri M.K. Mishra, Asstt.Manager; Shri R.K. Sahu, Engineer; Shri Kanak Sahq Jr. Engineer; Shri Harshvardhan Mathia, Jr. Engineer; Shri SudhirPurohit, Jr. Engineer: Shri L.P. Ratre, Jr. Engineer, Contract & Materials-Stores (C&M-Stores) Department, LSTPP, NTPC Ltd., Village-lara, Distt. Raigarh (C.G.) and other Unknown Public Servants/Private Persons, for commission of offences punishable under Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Prevention of Comrption Act, I 988 and any other offences committed in the course of the transaction arising out of the facts in regard to the complaint/matter referred above, within the whole state of Chhattisgarh.
