NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION UNDER SECTION 109 and 110 OF THE REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE ACT, 1951, READ WITH Rule 311 OF THE HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH RULES, 2007 IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
The sole Petitioner – Tarika Tarangni, has filed Election Petition No. 05/2019 under Section 81 read with section 100 (D)(iv) of the Representation of People Act, 1951 challenging the Election of Gomti Sai from the Raigarh Loksabha Constituency No. 02, Raigarh, District Raigarh, (C.G.), the result of which was declared on 23-05-2019.
As per Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner wants to withdraw the Election Petition to which counsel for the Respondent has no objection.
Please take notice that any person(s) who might himself have been a petitioner may, within fourteen days of such publication, apply to be substituted as petitioner in place of the party withdrawing, and upon compliance with the conditions, if any, as to security, shall be entitled to be so substituted and to continue the proceedings upon such terms as the High Court may deem fit.
