NOTIFICATION

File No. 19-51/ /2005/10-2 (Part).⸺ In exercise of the power s conferred by sub-section (1) of Section5 of the Chhattisgarh Kastha Chiran (Viniyaman) Adhiniyam, 1984 (No. 13 of 1984), and in supersession of all previous notifications issued in this regard, the State Government, hereby, declares the areas within ten kilometers of aerial distance from the boundary of the nearest notified forests or protected areas; excluding road side/railway side/canal side plantations, areas situated outside of Industrial estate or Municipal area, to be prohibited areas for the purposes of the said Act for a period of three years from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette.
