क्रमांक एफ 4-18/2016/18. - छत्तीसगढ़ नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1961 (क्रमांक 37 सन् 1961) की धारा
355 की उप-धारा (1) सहपठित धारा 95 द्वारा प्रदत्त षक्तियों को प्रयोग में लाते हुए, राज्य सरकार, एतद्द्वारा,
छत्तीसगढ़ नगरपालिका कर्मचारी (भर्ती तथा सेवा षर्तें) नियम, 1968 में निम्नलिखित और संषोधन करती है, अर्थात् :-

उक्त नियमों में,-
नियम 13 के उप-नियम (1) में, षब्द एवं वाक्यांष ''नगरपालिका सेवा या पद पर सभी नियुक्तियां चाहे वे
सीधी भर्ती द्वारा, परिवीक्षा पर की जायेगी। सीधी भर्ती के मामले में परिवीक्षा अवधि दो वर्षाें की होगी,'' के स्थान पर,
षब्द एवं वाक्यांष ''सेवा या पद में सीधी भर्ती द्वारा नियुक्त किसी भी व्यक्ति को, प्रथमतः तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए
परिवीक्षा पर रखा जायेगा।'' प्रतिस्थापित किया जाये।

No. F 4-18/2016/18. ⎯ In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-Section (1) of Section 355 read with Section 95 of the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Municipal Employees (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rule, 1968, namely :-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
In sub-rule (1) of rule 13, for the words and protasis "All appointment to the Municipal service or post whether by direct recruitment or by probation will be made on probation. The period of probation in the case of direct recruitment will be two years during", the words and protasis "A Person appointed to a service or post by direct recruitment shall be placed on probation for the period of first three years." Shall be substituted.
