पत्र क्रमांक-08/चार/विसनि/2023/. ― यतः भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 172 के खण्ड 1 के उपबन्धों के अनुसार छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य की विधान सभा, यदि पहले हीं विघटित नहीं कर दी जाती है तो 3 जनवरी, 2024 को सम्मिलित करते हुए इस तारीख तक बनी रहेगी और उसके पष्चात् उसकी अवधि के अवसान पर विघटित मानी जाएगी; और
यतः, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 1951 का 43 की धारा 15 की उप-धारा 1 के निबंधनों के अनुसार छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य की नई विधान सभा के गठन के प्रयोजन के लिए साधारण निर्वाचन कराया जाना है;
अतः, अब, लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 1951 का 43 की धारा 15 की उप-धारा 2 के अनुसरण में, जैसा कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने सिफारिष की है, छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के राज्यपाल एतद्द्वारा नीचे की सारणी में विनिर्दिष्ट प्रत्येक विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करते है कि वे उक्त अधिनियम और तद्धीन बनाये गये नियमों और आदेषों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य की विधान सभा के लिए सदस्य निर्वाचित कर देंः

NOTIFICATION
पत्र क्रमांक-08/चार/विसनि/2023/. ―WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of clause (1) of Article 172 of the Constitutions of India, the existing Legislative Assembly of the State of Chhattisgarh, unless sooner dissolved, shall continue up to and including the 3rd January, 2024 and shall, thereafter, stand dissolved on the expiration of its duration; and
WHEREAS, in terms of sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), a General Election has to be held for the purpose of constituting a new Legislative Assembly of the State of Chhattisgarh;
NOW, THEREFORE, as recommended by the Election Commission of India, in pursuance of sub- section (2) of Section 15 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Governor of the State of Chhattisgarh is hereby pleased to call upon each of the Assembly Constituencies of the State of Chhattisgarh specified in the Table below to elect members to the Legislative Assembly of the State, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made there under:
