NOTIFICATION
F. No.14391/3830/XXI-B/C.G./23. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), (1-A), (2) and (3) of Section 3 of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 (No. 4 of 2016), and in consultation with the High Court of Chhattisgarh and in compliance of Memo No. 14030/III-4-1/2016/Checker, Bilaspur, dated 20th October, 2023, the State Government, hereby, amends this Department's Notification no. 5853/1665/XXI- B/C.G./2016, dated 15-06-2016 and, constitute and designate the following courts as mentioned in column (3) of Schedule I, II and III below as Commercial Courts with specified pecuniary jurisdiction, at zone specified in corresponding entries in column (2), for the area specified in column (4) of the respective table, namely:-

| Note : In the event of the above-mentioned special court/s lying vacant or in the absence of presiding officer, as the case may be, then the urgent applications in all the cases, if any filed, shall be heard by the senior most Civil Judge Class-I available in the District headquarter. |

( 2) Arbitration cases will be heard by the other courts in addition to the above courts as per work distribution by the District Judge. |
