क्रमांक एफ 1-5/2014/18.— छत्तीसगढ़ नगरपालिक निगम अधिनियम, 1956 (क्र. 23 सन् 1956) की धारा 433 सहपठित धारा 14 की उप-धारा (2) तथा छत्तीसगढ़ नगरपालिका अधिनियम, 1961 (क्र. 37 सन् 1961) की धारा 355 सहपठित धारा 32 की उप-धारा (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग में लाते हुए, राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग के परामर्श से, राज्य सरकार, एतद्द्वारा, छत्तीसगढ़ नगरपालिका निर्वाचन नियम, 1994 में निम्नलिखित अग्रतर संशोधन करती है, अर्थात्ः-
संशोधन
उक्त नियम में -
1. नियम 12 के उप-नियम (3) का लोप किया जाये ।
2. नियम 13 में, शब्द ''जिला मुख्यालय की नगरपालिका से भिन्न'' का लोप किया जाये ।

No.F-1-5/2014/18.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 433 read with sub-section (2) of Section 14 of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956) and Section 355 read with sub-section (2) of Section 32 of the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961), the State Government, in consultation with the State Election Commission, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Nagarpalika Nirvachan Niyam, 1994, namely :-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
1. Sub-rule (3) of rule 12 shall be omitted.
2. In rule 13, the words "other than the Municipality at the District headquarters" shall be omitted.
