अधिसूचना
ESTB/1264/2025-HOME SECTION .— भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता, 2023 (क्र. 46 सन् 2023) की धारा 176 की उप-धारा (2) के खण्ड (ख) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग में लाते हुये, राज्य सरकार, एतद्द्वारा, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात् :-
1. सूचना लेखबद्ध किया जाना .- (1) किसी पुलिस थाने में प्राप्त संज्ञेय/असंज्ञेय अपराध के संबंध में, प्रत्येक सूचना को उस पुलिस थाने के भारसाधक अधिकारी द्वारा अभिलेख पर लिया जाएगा, जहाँ सूचना प्राप्त हुई है राज्य शासन द्वारा विहित प्रारूप अनुसार रजिस्टर में दर्ज की जायेगा।
(2) धारा 176 की उप-धारा (1) के प्रथम परंतुक के खण्ड (क) और खण्ड (ख) में वर्णित दशाओं में से प्रत्येक दशा में पुलिस थानें का भारसाधक अधिकारी अपनी रिपोर्ट में उसके द्वारा उस धारा की अपेक्षाओं का पूर्णतः अनुपालन न करने के अपने कारणों का कथन करेगा और मजिस्ट्रेट को पाक्षिक दैनिक डायरी रिपोर्ट भेजेगा।
2. संबंधित पुलिस थाने का भारसाधक अधिकारी, धारा 176 की उप-धारा (1) के खण्ड (ख) में वर्णित दशा की सूचना संलग्नक 1 प्रारूप अनुसार या इलेक्ट्रानिक माध्यम से फरियादी को देगा।

यह कि, (सूचनाकर्ता/पीड़ित का नाम) ........................................... आपके द्वारा दी गई सूचना के आधार पर, पुलिस थाना .................................जिला ............................में धारा .............................के अंतर्गत अपराध क्रमांक ... ....................पंजीबद्ध किया गया था।
पूर्वोक्त प्रकरण में अनुसंधान करने के लिए पर्याप्त आधार नहीं होने से मामले में अन्वेषण नहीं किया जा रहा है।

NOTIFICATION
ESTB/1264/2025-HOME SECTION.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub- section (1) of Section 176 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (No. 46 of 2023), the State Government, hereby, makes the following order, namely:-
1. Information to be recorded.- (1) Every information regarding a cognizable/non-cognizable offence received in a police station shall be taken on record by the officer-in-charge of the police station where the information is received and shall be entered in a register in the format prescribed by the State Government.
(2) In each of the cases mentioned in clauses (a) and (b) of the first proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 176, the officer in charge of the police station shall state in his report the reasons for not fully complying with the requirements of that section and send a fortnightly daily diary report to the Magistrate.
2. The officer-in-charge of the concerned police station shall give information about the condition described in clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 176 to the complainant as per the format given in Annexure 1 or through electronic means.

As there are not sufficient grounds to investigate the aforesaid case, the matter is not being investigated.
