NOTIFICATION
No. 149(Mis.)/II-15-19/2024.— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of the Article 229 of the Constitution of India, Hon'ble the Chief Justice of the High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, makes the following amendment in Chhattisgarh High Court Services (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 2017:-
AMENDMENT
1. In column No. 4 of Sl. No. 3 under heading 'Class-III' shall be substituted as under :-
1. 95% posts shall be filled up by direct recruitment through competitive examination.
2. 5% posts shall be filled up by promotion through competitive examination i.e. shorthand examination @ 80 w.p.m. on the basis of merit from amongst the Stamp Reporter, Examiner (I.L.R.), Assistant Grade-II having minimum 2 years experience and Translator, Data Entry Operator after completion of probation period on the establishment of this High Court.
2. Column No. 5 of Sl. No. 3 under heading 'Class-III' shall be substituted as under :-
1. For direct recruitment :
Must have passed Shorthand Examination and Typewriting examination in English from any recognized University/Board/recognized Board of shorthand and typewriting examination from recognized I.T.I. @ 80 words per minute and 30 words per minute respectively."
The above amendment shall come into the force with immediate effect.

AMENDMENT
1. In column No. 5 of Sl. No. 26 of the First Schedule (Gazetted Officers), the following shall be
inserted:-
(a) After the words, 'English', the words'/Hindi',
(b) After the words, 'per minute', the words ',respectively,'
(c) After the words, 'feeder post(s)' the words 'i.e. Senior Hindi Stenographer and after completion of the probation period on the establishment of this High Court in the direct recruitment of Stenographers/Stenographers (Bilingual)"
