क्रमांक एफ 07-1/2019/जनगणना/गृह-दो. — जनगणना नियम, 1990 के नियम 8 (एक) (क) के अनुसरण में, राज्य सरकार, एतद्द्वारा, सामान्य जानकारी के लिए, गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना क्रमांक का. आ. 2681 (अ) दिनांक 16-06-2025 को निम्नानुसार पुनः प्रकाशित करती हैः-

अधिसूचना
नई दिल्ली, 16 जून 2025 का.आ. 2681 (अ).— केन्द्रीय सरकार, जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 3 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग लाते हुए और भारत के राजपत्र असाधारण, भाग 2, धारा 3, उप-धारा (दो), दिनांक 28 मार्च, 2019 में प्रकाशित भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय (भारत के महारजिस्ट्रार का कार्यालय) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 1455 (अ), दिनांक 26 मार्च, 2019 के अधिक्रमण में, उन बातों के अतिरिक्त, जिन्हें ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पहले किया गया है या करने का लोप किया गया है, एतद्द्वारा यह घोषणा करती है कि भारत की जनसंख्या की जनगणना वर्ष, 2027 के दौरान की जाएगी।
2. उक्त जनगणना के लिए संदर्भ तारीख, संघ राज्यक्षेत्र लद्दाख के संघ राज्यक्षेत्र जम्मू एवं कश्मीर तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं उत्तराखंड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के सिवाय, मार्च 2027 के पहले दिन के 00.00 बजे होगी ।
3. संघ राज्यक्षेत्र लद्दाख के लिए और संघ राज्यक्षेत्र जम्मू एवं कश्मीर तथा हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं उत्तराखंड राज्यों के हिमाच्छादित असमकालिक क्षेत्रों के लिए संदर्भ तारीख अक्टूबर, 2026 के पहले दिन के 00.00 बजे होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
No. F-07-1/2019/Census/Home-2.— In pursuance of Rule 8(i)(a) of the Census Rules, 1990, the State Government hereby, for general information, re-publishes the Notification No. S.O. 2681(E) dated 16-06-2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, as under :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th June, 2025 S.O. 2681 (E)- The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Office of the Registrar General, India), No. S.O. 1455 (E) dated the 26th March, 2019, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 28th March, 2019, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, hereby, declares that the Census of population of India shall be conducted during the year 2027.
2. The reference date for the said census shall be 00.00 hours of the first day of March, 2027, except for the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the snow-covered asynchronous areas of the States of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
3. The reference date for the Union Territory of Ladakh and for the snow-covered anomalous areas of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the States of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, shall be 00.00 hours of the 1st day of October, 2026.
