NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1), (I-A), (2) and (3) of Section 3 of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 (No. 4 of 2016), and in consultation with the Hon'ble High Court of Chhattisgarh and in compliance of Memo No. 8881/III-4- 1/2016/Checker, Bilaspur, dated 07.05.2026, the State Government, hereby, amends this Department's Notification no. 14391/3830/XXI-B/C.G./2023, dated 20.12.2023 and designate the following court of IInd Additional Judge to the Court of 1st Civil Judge, Senior Division, Bilaspur as Commercial Court (below District Judge Level), in place of IIIrd Civil Judge, Senior Division, Bilaspur for hearing of Commercial Dispute cases arising out of Civil District Mungeli and Janjgir Champa area, namely:-

In the SCHEDULE-I
Under the heading Commercial Court Below District Judge Level (Civil Judge Level) pecuniary value of Rupees 3 Lakh to 10 Lakh (except Arbitration cases), in column (3) of serial no. 2 for symbol, punctuation and word "III CJ-I, Bilaspur", the symbol, punctuation and words "IInd Additional Judge to the Court of Ist Civil Judge, Senior Division, Bilaspur" shall be substituted,
