क्रमांक GENS-1105/99/2025-HOME SECTION. जनगणना नियम, 1990 के नियम 6घ के अनुसरण में, राज्य सरकार, एतद्द्वारा, सामान्य जानकारी के लिए, गृह मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना क्रमांक का.आ. 3472(अ), दिनांक 27 जून, 2026 को निम्नानुसार पुनः प्रकाशित करती है :-

अधिसूचना
नई दिल्ली, 27 जून, 2026 का.आ. 3472(अ) .- के न्द्रीय सरकार, जनगणना अधिनियम, 1948 (1948 का 37) की धारा 17क के साथ पठित जनगणना नियम, 1990 के नियम 6घ द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, राज्यों एवं संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों में भारत की जनगणना, 2027 के दूसरे चरण के पूर्व-परीक्षण के संचालन के लिए उक्त अधिनियम के उपबंधों का विस्तार, निम्नानुसार करती है :-
(i) जनसंख्या गणना का पूर्व-परीक्षण चयनित नमूना क्षेत्रों में 6 जुलाई, 2026 से 18 जुलाई, 2026 तक संचालित किया जाएगा, इसका पुनरीक्षण दौर 19 जुलाई, 2026 से 20 जुलाई, 2026 तक किया जाएगा।
(ii) 1 जुलाई, 2026 से 5 जुलाई, 2026 तक स्व-गणना के लिए विकल्प होगा।

NOTIFICATION
No. GENS-1105/99/2025-HOME SECTION. In pursuance of Rule 6D of the Census Rule, 1990, the State Government hereby, for general information, re-publishes the Notification No. S.O. 3472(E) dated 27.06.2026 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India as under :-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 27th June, 2026 S.O. 3472(E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17A of the Census Act, 1948 (37 of 1948) read with rule 6D of the Census Rules, 1990, the Central Government hereby extends the provisions of the said Act for conduct of pre-test of second phase of Census of India, 2027 in the States and Union territories, as under :-
(i) the pre-test of Population Enumeration in selected sample areas shall be conducted from 6th July, 2026 to 18th July, 2026, with a revisional round from 19 July, 2026 to 20 July, 2026.
(ii) there shall be an option for self-enumeration from 1st July, 2026 to 5th July, 2026.
