exer- No. 187 -R . WHEREAS the jurisdiction heretofore od by the Crown Representative in the area known a e Gilgit Sub -divison will , with effect trom the 1st day of ugust 1947, be restored to His Highness the Maharaj Jammu and Kashmir;
NOW THEREFork , in exercise of the powers conferred the Indun (Foreign Jurisdiction ) Order in Council , 37 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, Crown Representative is pleased to direct that with eot from the said 1st day of Augusi 1947 all notifica ns issued under the Indian ( Foreign Jurisdiction ) Order Council , 1902 , or under the Indian (Foreign Jurisdiction ) der in Commeil , 1987 , whereby specific provision was made the said area , whether by the making of laws for or the plication of lows to the said area , or for the administra- n of justice therein or otherwise , shall be cancelled .
