NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 30th lugust 1947
No. 1 - PR( 33 ) /47.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Supplies ( Temporary Powels ) Act 1946 , the Central Government is pleased to order as follows :-
( 1 ) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Motor Spirit Rationing Order, 1941 , no coupon , receipt or special receipt issued under the said Order shall be valud with flect trom the 1st September 1947 , in the Chief Commi sioner's Province of Delhi unless it is en- dorsed bv one of the officers mentioned in the schedule hereto
( 2 ) Any person who is lawfully holding any coupon reccipt of special receipt may apply to one of the aforesaid officers for endorsement thereon and produce before him the Certificate of Registration of vehicle ( or in the case of a stage carriage , Part of the permit ) im rospect of whicla the coupon , receipt or special receipt has been issued.

1 The Provincial Rationing Authority (Motor Spirit ) . Delhi , or
2. The Resident Mingistrate , New Delhi ; or
3. The Assistant Secretary to the Government of India , Transport Department ; on
4. Any other officer who may be appointed in this behalf by the Central Government .
