NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 7th September 1947
No. 1 .--In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 7 of the Delhi Laws Act , 1912 , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the Punjab Disturbed Areas Act, 1947 (Punjab Act I of 1947) and the Punjab Public Safety Act , 1947 ( Punjab Act II of 1947) shall apply to the Province of Delhi subject to the modification that all powers of the Provincial Government under those Acto shall be powers of the Central Government as well as of the Chiet Commissioner of Delhi .
No. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec- tion 7 of the Delhi Laws Act , 1912 , the Central Govern- ment is pleasedto direct that the Punjab Disturbed Areas (Special Powers of Armed Forces ) Ordinance , 1947 , shall apply to the Province of Delhi .
No. 3. In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec- tion 8 of the Punjab Disturbed Areas Act , 1947 (Punjab Act I of 1947) as applied to the Province of Delhi , the Central Government is pleased to declare that the whole of the Province of Delhi is a disturbed area .

No. 4. In exercise of the powers conferred by Seo- tion 2 of the Punjab Public Safety Act , 1947 ( Punjab Act II of 1947 ) as applied to the Province of Delhi , the Central Government is pleased to declare the whole of the Province of Delhi to be a dangerously disturbed area .
