New Delhi , the 12th September 1947
No. 49 - IB . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Extra Provincial Jurisdiction Ordnance , 1947 , and all other powers enabling it in that behalf , the Central Govpment is pleased to direct that the officers men- tioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto annexed shall , save as other- wise expressly provided , exercise in respect of the areas mentioned in columu 8 the powers specified in column 4 , exercisable by the authority specified in column 2 thereof .
