No. 72/8/47-PuWic(A).-In exercise of the powers con- ferred by section 7 of the Delhi Laws Act, 1912 (XIII of 1912), the Central Government is pleased to extend the East Punjab Police (Projection of Railways) Ordinance, 1947, to the Province of Delhi.

No. 5/19/47-Poll(I).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Delhi Laws Act, 1912 (XIII of 1912), and in supersession of Notification No. 2 of the Ministry of Home Affairs dated the 7th September, 1947 the Central Government is pleased to extend to the Province of Delhi the Punjab Disturbed Areas (Special Powers of Armed Forces) Ordinance, 1947 (IV of 1947), as in force on the date of this Notification, subject to the following modi- fications, namely: —
In the said Ordinance
(1) reference to the Punjab shall be construed as
reference to the Province of Delhi;

(2) J!or sub-section (3) of section 1 the following nub- soefcion shall be substituted, namely: —
"(3) It shall come into foroo at once and shall re- main in forcts until the further orders of the Central Government."
