No. D.II.1869 - EF / 47 .-Whereas under section 5 of Article VIII of the Agreement for the establishment and operation of the International Monetary Fund that Fund has required the Central ( Government to furnish it with certain information ,
Now , therefore , in pursuance of sub - section ( 1) of Section 4 of the International Monetary Fund and Bank Ordinance , 1947 ( XLVII of 1947 ) , the Central Government is pleased to authorise the Reserve Bank of India to make orders under the said sub- section requiring any person to furnish to such officer or other pason as may be specified in the order such detailed information as the Reserve Bank Liay determine to be essential for the purpose of complying with the request of the International Monetary Fund .
