New Delhi, the 8th December 1947

No. PY.603 (2)-X.—In exercise of the powers conferred sections 8 and 4 of the Essential Supplies (Temporary powers) Act, 1946 (XXIV of 1946), the Central Govern- ment is pleated to direct that as from the eighth day of December, 1947—

) the following further amendment shall be made in Notification of the Government of India in the Depart of Food No. PY.603(2)-I, dated the 21st October 1946, namely: —

In the said Notification, for the words "foodstuff's including coconut oil, but excluding other edible oils, oilseeds and pulses other than gram" the words s "food- stuffs, including gram and coconut oil, but excluding (i) other pulses, (ii) other edible oils, (iii) edible oil seeds sugar and (v) gur", shall be substituted ;
