No. 1137. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 2) of section 241 of the Government of India Act , 1935 , as adapted by the India ( Provisional Constitution) Order , 1947 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay ) Rules , 1947 , namely : -
In the Schedule annexed to the said rules under the head Med .
Directorate-
(1) For Unskilled ' in col . 1 , substituté
' Unskilled-
Labourer , Sweeper , Water Carrier , Cook , Gardener , Watchman , Peon ' .
(2 ) For ' Semi - skilled Packers in col . 1 , substitute ' Packer ' , and in the same line for '30--- 35 ' in col . 3 , substitute '35-1-50 ' .
(3) For ' Skilled- Carpenters , Cutlers , Painters , Tinsmiths , etc.' in col . 1 , substitute ' Skilled--Carpenter and Joiner , Cutler , Painter and ' Tinsmith ' , and in col . 3 , against the above entries for '40-2-60 ' substitute '50-2-60- EB - 3/ 2-75 ' .
