Bombay , the 12th July 1948
No. F.E.R.A.42/ 48-R.B . In pursuance of sub - section ( 1) of section 5 of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act , 1947 ( VII of 1947) , the Reserve Bank is hereby pleased to exempt persons in , or residents in , the provinces of India from the provisions of clauses (a) , (c) , ( d) and (e) of the said sub - section so far as they relate to residents and acquisition of property in the Hyderabad State , subject to the condition that the payments under the said clauses (a) , (c) and ( e) are made to , and the sum referred to in the said clause ( d) is placed at the credit of the person concerned in , a blocked account constituted under section 6 of the said Act .
No. F.E.R.A. 43 / 48 - R.B .--In pursuance of sub - section (3) of section 6 of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act , 1947 ( VII of 1947), the Reserve Bank is pleased to direct that for the purposes of the payments and credits referred to in its Notification No. F.E.R.A. 42/ 48 - R.B . , dated the 12th July 1948 , a blocked account entitled the " Hyderabad Blocked Account " shall be opened at all offices of the Reserve Bank .
