New Delhi, the 11th July 1948

No. 1229.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 241 of the Government of India Act, 1935 as adapted by the India Provisional Constitution) Order 1947 the Governor General is pleased to abject that the following amendments shall be made in the Civilians Defence Services (Re- vision of Pay) Rules 1947, namely:—

In the schedule annexed to the said rules under the head ' Air Head- quarters ''—

(1) Against "Civilian Pest Control Officer'' for "under consideration-' in column 3, substitute "275—25—500-E. B.—30—650".

(2) Against "Antimalaria Officer", for "under consideration" in column 3, substitute "275—25—500". ' '

(3) Against

Supervisors Gr-. I - 125—15—200. Supervisors Gr. II 120. Supervisors Gr. III 60—90. Supervisors Gr. IV 40—50. for "under consideration"- in-column 3, subtstitute: Malaria Assis- tant— 125—6—185—8—225. *Malaria Inspector—100—5—125—6—155. *Malaria Sub-Inspector—60—5/2—75.
