NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st August 1948
No. F. 4. ( 16) / 48 - C . S.-In pursuance of the provisions of sections 4 and 8 of the Bombay Essential Commodities & Cattle ( Control) Act , 1946 as extended to the Province of Delhi vide Government of India , late Home Department , Notification No. 72 / 3 / 46 - Public , dated the 12th October 1946 , the Chief Com- missioner of Delhi Province , with a view to maintain the supplies and equit- 'able distribution of BRICKS , is pleasedto order that no person or class of persons minufacturing -or holding any stock of BRICKS shall with imm caiate eficet sell or attempt to sell or cause to be sold to any person or class of persons any quantity of BRICKS or move them from one place to another by any modé of transport or utilise any bricks in the construction of any building or projects other than approved Government works , except under a permit or authorisation issued in writing by the Director of Rationing & Civil Supplies , Delhi Province .
All such persons or class of persons holding stocks of BRICKS shall declare full particulars of their present stocks in writing immediatel ; to the Director of Rationing and Civil Supplies , Delhi Province , Delhi . Particulars of future production . shall also be intimated in writing to the said Director weekly on or before every Monday .
