EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 26th August 1948
No. 91-0.W . (1) /45.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of Section 3 of the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 , ( XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amend- ments shall be made in the notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 91 - C.W . ( 1 ) / 45 , duted the 3rd November , 1945 , namely:
In the schedule annexed to the said notification-
In Part B
(a) After item 1 the following item shall be inserted , namely:-
" 1A . Confectionery , the following:
( i) Chocolates and chocolate confectionery ..
(ii ) Processed Fruit products such as Jams , Marmalades , Jelly , Crystalised fruits and gulkand .
(iii) Syrups , golden syrup and fruit squashes , and
( iv) Indian sweets and home made sweet preparations which con- tain either food grain or pulses or milk or milk products .
(b) For item 8 the following shall be substituted , namely:---
"Molasses ."
In Part D-
The following new entry shallbe inserted as item 27 -A-
"Glass bottles of Crown Cork pattern , ompty . "
