No. F.100 / 48 - L . The following Proclamation by His Excellency the Governor-General , dated the 18th September 1948 , is published for general information: -
PROCLAMATION
In pursuance of section 102 of the Government of India Act , 1935 , I , (' hakravarti Rajagopaluchari , Governor - General of India , being satisfied that there is innninent danger of the security of India being threatened by internal disturbance , do by this Proclamation , declare that a grave emergency exists whereby the security of India is threatened by internal disturbance .
