No. 10-ITO./48 . In pursuance of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No 23 - ITC / 43 , dated the 1st July 1943 , as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act . 1947 ( XVIII of 1947 ) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that , for the purposes of the Open General Licences Nos XI and XII published with the Notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce Nos . 6 - ITC / 48 and 7 - ITC / 48 , dated the 3rd July 1948 and 22nd July 1948 respectively , the following amendments shall be made in the Open General Licence No. XI: ---
