NOTIFICATIONS
Delhi , the 18th September , 1948
No. F. 1 (72 )/48-L.S.G . ( I) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of section 2 of the Resettlement of Displaced Persons ( Land Acqu sition) Ordmance , 1948 , the Chief Commissioner of Delhi is pleased to appoint the Lands Officer of the Delhi Improvement Trust to perform all the functions of a competent authority under the said Ordinance .
No. F. 1( 72 ) /48-L.S.G . ( II ) .-Whereas it appears to the Chief Commis- aioner of Delhi that it is necessary to acquire speedily land for the resettlement of displaced persons by the Government at the public expense it is hereby notified that the land specified below is to be acquired for the above purpose on the seventh day after the date of publication of this notification .
This notification is made under the provisions of section 3 of the Resettle- ment of Displaced Persons ( Land Acquisition) Ordinance , 1948 ( XX of 1948) to all whom it may concern .
Any person interested in the land who has any objection to the acquisition may file an objection in writing before the Lands Officer , Delhi Improverment Trust , New Delhi , who has been appointed to perform all the functions of a competent authority under the said Ordinance .
SPECIFICATIONS
Area .-505-8 acres .
Boundaries of the land to be acquired
North . Begumpur village and pucca road to Chiragh Delhi .
Bouth-Line parallel to the northern boundary but 4,000 feet below it.
East . Khirki village and Chiragh Delhi .
West .- Line parallel to Qutab Road joining the Begumpur village and the existing kachcha road near Hauz Rani Bund .
