No. 8(4 )/Ous/Genl/48.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (1) of section 6 of the East Punjab Evacuees (Administration of Property) Act of 1947 , as subsequently amended and extended to the Province of Delhi , I, Uma Shankar Dikshit , Custodian of Evacuees ' Property , hereby assume poss- ession of and control over all moveable evacuce property lying in or situated within the Province of Delhi .
