DISCHARGE OF FUNCTIONS OF PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT UNDER ORDINANCE No. XX OF 1948 TO PROVIDE FOR THE SPEEDY ACQUISITION OF LAND , FOR THE RESETTLEMENT OF DISPLACED PERSONS BY CHIFF COMMISSIONER , DELHI No. R.D.B / B /199.-In pursuance of sub - section ( 3) of Section 94 of Govern . ment of India Act , 1935 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the functions of the Provincial Government under the Resettlement of Displaced Persons ( Land Acquisition) Ordinance , 1948 ( No. XX of 1948) shall , in respect of the Province of Delhi , be discharged by the Chief Commissioner of Delhi .
