No. PY.603 ( 2 ) -Χ.--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 οι Essential Supplies ( Temporar Powers ) Act 1946 , (XXIV of 1946 , as applied to Kuteb and Himachal Pouest by Notifßeation of the Hovernment of India in the Ministry of Industry and Supply No. 90 /20- Tes.1/ 48, dated the 10th October 1948 , The Central Government is pleased to direct that the rower to make oldurs conferred on it by sub - section of sectiors of the shin Act to provide for the unatters specified in sub- section ( 2) thereof shall , in relation to foodstutfs , includ- . ing gram , but excluding ( i ) other pulses (ii ) edible oils (iii ) edible oil seeds ( iv ) sugar and ( v ) gur , be exercisable also by the Chief Commissioners of Kutch and Himachal Pradesh:
Provided that :-
(a) before making any order relating to any matter specified in clauses (a), (b) , (c), (d) , (f) and ( g) of the said sub - section (2) , the Chief Commissioner shall obtain the concurrence of the Central Government ;!
(b) no order unade in the exercise of the aforesaid powers shall have effect so as to prohibit or restrict the export , from any place in Kutch and Himachal Pradesh to any place outside India , of any articles or things.
