EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Delhi , the 24th December 1948
No. 91-0.W . ( 11 ) / 48 -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) and sub - section ( 3 ) of section 8 of the Imports and Exports (Control ) Act , 1947 (XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleased to make the following Order , namely:-
(1) This order may be called the Export Licences ( Conditions of issue) Order, 1948 .
(2) An officer issuing a licence under clause ( a), (b ) or ( c ) of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce No. 91 - C.W. (1)/ 45 , dated the 3rd November 1945-
(i) shall issue the licence subject to the condition that it shall not be transferable , except in accordance with the permission of the licensing authority or a person duly authorised by it ;
( ii) may attach to the licence such other conditions , not inconsistent with the Act , as he may deem expedient .
