NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi , the 11th Januarу 1949
No. F. 3 ( 1 ) / 49 - R & R ( 1) .- In pursuance of clause ( a) of section 2 of the Resettlement of Displaced persons (Land Acquisition) Act 1948 ( Act LX of 1948 ) , read with Notification No. RDB / B / 53 dated the 31st December , 1948 , by the Government of India , Ministry of Relief and Rehabilitation, the Chief Commissioner of Delhi is pleased to appoint the Lands Officer , Delhi Improve- ment Trust , New Delhi , to perform all functions of a " competent authority " under the said Act .
No. F. 3 ( 1 ) / 49 - R& R ( 2) .-Whereas it appears to the Chiet Commissioner that it is necessary to acquire speedily land for the resettlement of displaced persons by Government at the public expense it is hereby notified that the land specified in the subjoined schedule is to be acquired for the above pur- pose on the seventh day after the date of publication of this notification .
This notification is made under the provisions of section 3 of the Resettle- ment of Displaced Persons ( Land Acquisition) Act 1948 (Act No. LX of 1948) , read with the Government of India , Ministry of Relief and Rehabilita- tion Notification No. RDB / B / 53 dated the 31st December , 1948 , and is directed to all to whom it may concern .
Any person interested in the land who has any objection to the acquisition may file an objection in miting before the Lands Officer , Delhi Improvement Trust , New Delhi , who has been appointed to perform all the fuctions of a competent authority under the said Act .
