No. 24/E.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 241 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted by the India (Provisional Constitution) Order 1947, the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made to the schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay) Rules 1947, namely : —
In the said schedule under the heading "Quarter Master General's Branch—
Remounts and Veterinary Service".—
1. Delete the name of post "Head Veterinary Inspector" and connected entries.
2. Against Veterinary Inspectors under the column for prescribed scale,—
For the entry "under consideration"
Substitute 150—10—200.
3. Against Veterinary Assistant Surgeons under the column for "prescribed scales",—
For the entry "under consideration"
Substitute 80—5—120—6—144.
