17. Candidates finally selected by Services Selection Board for the Army will undergo a course of (raining up to 2 years at the Military-Wing of the Armed Forces Academy. Civilian candidates will be enrolled under the Indian Army Act as 'gentlemen cadets'. Gentlemen eadetg will be dealt with for ordinary disciplinary purposes under the rules an_d regulations of the Academy.

18. Candidates finally selected for the R.I.A.F. will be admitted to the R.I.A.FV Training Establishments and undergo training for a period of 2 years.

In equal circles (or, in the same circle) *(i) two arcs subtend equal angles at the centres, they are equal; *"(ii) conversely, if two arcs are equal, they subtend equal angles at the centre. The straight line joining the middle points of two sides a triangle is parallel to the third side, and equal to one- If of it. In equal circles (or, in the same circle) *(i) if two chords are equal, they cut off equal arcs; *(ii) conversely, if two arcs are equal, the chords of the arcs are equal. If there are three or more parallel straight lines, and the ;ercepty made by them on any straight line that cuts em are equal, then the corresponding intercepts on any ler straight line that cuts them are also equal. If a straight line touch a circle, and from the point of contact a chord be drawn, the angles which this chord makes with the tangent are equal to the angles in the alternate segments. *Proofs of these theorems-will not be required. ↩
