NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 21st February 1949
No. 91 - C.W . ( 10 ) / 48 . The notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 91 - C.W . ( 1 ) / 45 , dated the 3rd November 1945 , and certain current notifications issued in pursuance of that notification , incorporating all amendments to date , are republished for general information .
EXPORT TRADE CONTROL

No. 91-0.W . ( 1 ) /45.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -rule (8) of the rule 84 of the Defence of India Rules , and in supersession of the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Department of Commerce , No. 91- C.W. ( 1 ) / 44 , dated the 29th January 1944 , the Central Government is pleased to prohibit the export to any place outside India, of any goods of the descrip- tion specified in the Schedule annexed , except the following , namely : --
(a) any goods of the description specified in Part B of the said Schedule and covered by an export licence issued by or under the orders of the Central Government in the Mmistry of Food or the Chief Controller of Exports or an Export Trade Controller or Deputy Chief Controller of Imports and Exports appointed in this behalf by the Central Government ;
(b ) any goods of the description specified in Part C of the said Schedule and coverod by an export licence issued by the Central Govern- ment in the Ministry of Industry and Supply or by army officer authorised by that Ministry in this behalf ;
(c) any goods of the description specified in Part D of the said Schedule and covered by an export licence issued by or under the order of the Central Government in the Ministry of Commerce or the Chief Controller of Exports or an Export Trade Cortroller or Deputy Chief Controller of Imports and Exports appointed in this behalf by the Contral Government;
(d) any goods constituting the stores or equipment of an outgoing vessel or conveyance , or the bona fide baggage of the crew or of the passengers in , such vessel or conveyance ; of

( ) any goods transhipped at a port in British India after having been manifested for such transhipment at the time of despatch from a port outside British India ;

Open General Licence No. 1 .
In pursuance of clause (h) of the notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 91 - C.W . (1)/ 45 , dated the 3rd November 1945, the Central Government gives general permission to all persons to export to the French possessions in India any of the goods included in the Schedule annexed to the said notification .

In pursuance of clause (h) of the notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 91 - C.W . No. 91-0.W . ( 11) / 48 . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - sect ou (1) and sub - section (3) of section 8 of the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 ( XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleased to make the following Order , namely :-
(1) This order may be called the Export Licences ( Conditions of issue) Onder , 1948 .
(2) An officer issuing a licence under clause (a) , (b) or (c) of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce No. 91 - C W. (1) / 45, dated the 3rd November 1945-
(i) shall issue the licence subject to the condition that it shall not be transferable , except in accordance with the permission of the licensing authority or a person duly authorised by it ;
(ii) may attach to the licence such other conditions , not inconsistent with the Act, as he may deem expedient .
