IH No 5 - ITO 49. In pursnane of the notification of the Govormuent of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 23 - ITC /13 , dated the 1st July 1943 , as cortinued in fores by the Iuports and Exports ( Control ) Act, 1947 ( XVIII of 1947 ) , the (' entral Government is pleased to direct that the following further nur andment, shall be made in the Open General Licence No X , published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce , No. 1 ITC/ 48 , dated the 1st March 1948 , as subsequently amended , and that this amendment be published for general information
In the preamble to the suid Open General Licence-
For the words--
" any goods of a description specified in the Schedule anuesed to the Said notifiention , other than goods described in Serial No 2 of Part III of the said Schedule , namely --Cotton Raw '' '
The following shall be substituted , namuely-
" any goods of a doscription specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification , excluding those goods described in Seual No. 2 of Part III of the raid Schedule , namely , Cotton rao and also excluding those goods described in Serial No 98 of Part IV of the Schedule , namely ' Sait ' '".
Provided that nothing in this amendment shall apply to import of Khewa Sali by land from Pakistan .
