IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
New Dellu , the 17th March 1949
No. 6 - ITO/ 49 .In pursuance of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce , No. 23 - ITC / 43 , dated the 1st July 1948 , as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 ( XVIII of 1947 ) , the Central Government is pleased to direct that nothing contained in the Notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 3 - ITC / 49 , dated the 22nd February , 1919 and No 4 ITC /49 , dated the 25th February , 1949 , as published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary of dates shall be deemed to permit the import from Japan of any of the articles specified in the said Notifications under Open General Licence No. XIII , pub- lished in the Notification of the Governnient of India in the Ministry of Com- merce No. 11 - ITC/ 48 , dated the 22nd September 1948 . even
No. 7 - ITO/ 49 . Open General Licence No. XIII issued by the Central Gov- ernment in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce No. 23 - ITC/ 49 , dated the 1st July 1943 , as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control) Act 1947 (XVIII of 1947) and published with the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No 11 - ITC / 48 , dated 22nd September 1948 , is hereby cancelled .
Provided that goods of any description covered by the said Open General Licence which have been despatched on through consignment to India on or before 31st March 1949 will be treated as having been imported thereunder .
