NOTIFICATION
IMPORT TRADE CONTROL, New Delhi , the 22nd March , 1940
No. 8 - ITO/ 49 . In pursuance of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce No. 28 - ITC / 13 , dated the 1st July 1948 , as continued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 (XVIII of 1947) , the Central Government is pleasedto direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Open General Licence No. XI, published with the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 6 - ITC / 48 , dated the 3rd July , 1948 , as subsequently amended ; and that this amendment be published for general information .
In the Schedule annexed to the said Open General Licence No. XI :-
▼ 26 (i) The following entry shall be omitted , namely :- Soda ash , including Calcined natural soda and manufactured sesquicarbonates .
(i) For the existing entry , against Serial No. 70 of Part IV , the following shall be substituted , namely:
IV 79 Provisions and oilman's stores and groceries , all sorts not otherwise specified exclud- ing Semolina .
(iii ) For the existing entry against Serial No. 12 of Part V , the following shall be substituted , namely :-
V 12 Farinaceous and patent foods , canned ог hottled excluding milk food for infants and also excluding Semolina .
(iv) In Part V in Serial No. 122, the following description of goods shall be added , namely : -
V 122 Rosin Oil
