ERRATA
The following further corrections should be made in the Public Notice of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 1 ( 4 ) -ITC/ 49 , dated the 22nd February , 1949 , published in the Gazette of India ( Extraordinary ) of the same date . These corrections will be addition to those indicated in the errata already published in the Gazette of India ( Extraordinary) , dated the 1st March , 1949 : -
Page 207- Para . 3-Grouping of countries in relation to currency ; below ( ii ) (c) , the following shall be added: -' ( d) French zone in Germany ' .
Page 208. Imports from Bizonia . In line ( 5 ) The words " except that no newcomers ' fee is required ; and last date of submission of application from newcomer is 30th April , 1949 " should be inserted after the words , " continue to be in force " .
Page 209--Para . (18) . In line 4 for the words " article " the words " articles falling under one serial number of the I.T.C. Schedule " should be substituted .
Page 210-Paragraphs 22 and 23-For the words " Appendix F" , the words " Appendix G " should be substituted .
Page 215 Column ( 5 ) . Against serial No. 9 ( 1) , for the words " No licences will be granted " , the words " subject to monetary ceilings " should be substi- tuted .
Page 219 - Column (7) . Against Serial No. 28 , the words " excluding alli- gator type belt fastner " should be placed in brackets .
Page 219-- Columns 4 , 5 and 6. For the existing entries appearing against Serial No. 80 , substitute the following :--

Page 225 - Column ( 2 ) .-The words " i.e. bulbs upto 500 watts " should be inserted after the words " House Servico Type Bulbs appearing against Serial No. 38 ( A ) ( a ) . The words " i.e. bulbs over 500 watts , should be inserted after the words " Industrial Bulbs " . The entry against ( iii) , namely words " side- dash- board Tail lighting lamp 6/12 volts " , should be deleted and entry No. ( iv) should be renumbered as ( iii ) .
Page 227 - Column ( 6 ) .-Against Serial No. 45 , the words " excluding bare copper wire and cables " should be inserted after the words " O.G.L. XI " .
In column 7 , the following entry should be made:-
"No licence will be granted for bare copper wires and cables from any source" .
Page 229- Column ( 6 ) . For the words " subject to monetary ceiling " appearing against Serial No. 46A (b) , the words " OGL XI " should be substi- tuted .
Page 229 - Column ( 7) . For the words " when not required for use in voltages exceeding 3300 volts will be licensed subject to monetary ceilings " appearing against Serial No. 47 ; the words " when required for use in voltages not exceeding 3,300 volts will be licensed subject to monetary ceilings " should be substituted .
Page 234 Column ( 2 ) .-Against S. No. 5 ( 1)-In line 10 for the word " loomps" , the word " looms " should be substituted : In line 11 for the word , " pins " the word " piros " should be substituted ,
Page 236- Column ( 6) . For the words " No licences will be granted ' appearing against Serial No. 8 ( ii) , the words " subject to monetary ceilings " , should be substituted .

Page 248 Column ( 6 ) . Against Serial No. 110 , for the existing entry , substitute the following:-
" O.G. XI except for Potassium and Sodium Bichromates , Monocyanide of Gold, and all Gold compounds with the exception of liquid gold , and Silver Nitrate and all compounds of silver for which licences will be granted only when goods are genuinely required as raw materials for the manufacture of patent medicines etc. "
Page 244 Column ( 5 ) . For the words " No licence will be granted " appear- ing against Serial No. 117 , the words " Subject to monetary ceilings " should be substituted .
Page 246 - Column ( 5) . For the words " Subject to monetary ceiling " , appearing against Serial No. 181 , the words " No licence will be granted " should be substituted .
Page 250 Column (2) For the word " more ", appearing in line four against Serial No. 215 , the word ' less " should be substituted .
Page 259---Column ( 7) . For the existing entry against ( ZUU ) , substitute the following , " Licences will be granted for Plate glass of thickness over 24 oz only" .
Page 259--- Column ( 7) .-Against ( ZV) , the words " and glass chatons are" should be inserted between the words " electric bulbs " and the words " covered by O.G.L.XI " .

"No licences will be granted from any source for sun glasses and glare glasses " . No licences will be granted from dollar and hard currency countries for spectacles frames and lenses .

Page 818. Against Serial No. 32 , in cloumn 4 , after the existing entry the following should be insorted . " No licences will be granted for imports of motors upto 30 H.P. " .
Page 326. Existing entrios against Serial No. 96 of Part IV in all the columns should be deleted as " No licences will be granted for unmanfactured tobacco" .
Page 328- Column ( 2) . For the existing entry substitute the following: - " Plate glass of thickness over 24 oz . only " .
Column (4) . For the existing , entry , substitute the following :--
"Subject to monetary ceilings , licences will be granted only for plate glass of thickness over 24 oz . " .
