New Delhi , the 29th April , 1949
No. 5 ( 11 ) -Β / 49 . The Government of India hereby notify that the whole of the 3 per cent . Rupee Loan 1949-52 issued either as counterpart of the 3 per cent . Sterling Loan 1949-52 in accordance with the Government of India , Finance Department , Notification No. D / 1184 - B , dated the 22nd February 1940 or in terms of the Government of India , Finance Department , Notification No. D/ 486- B/ 41 , dated the 25th January 1941 , will be repaid at par on the 1st August 1949 with all interest due up-to- date . Interest will not accrue on the loan from and after the 1st August 1949 .
