In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (2) of Section 241 of the Government of India Act , 1985 , as adapted by the India (Provisional Constitution ) Order 1947 , the Governor General is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made to the Schedule in the Civilians in Defence Services (Revision of Pay ) Rules 1947 , namely : ----
