IMPORT TRADE CONTROL .
New Delhi , the 5th May 1949
No. 12- ITO/ 49 .-- Open General Licence No. XI issued by the Central Gov- rnment in pursuance of the Notification of the Government of India in the late Department of Commerce No. 28 - ITC / 43 , dated the 1st July 1948 , as conti- nued in force by the Imports and Exports ( Control ) Act , 1947 ( XVIII of 1947 ) and published with the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce No. 6 - ITC / 46 , dated the Brd July 1948 , as subsequently amended , is hereby cancelled .
Provided that goods of any description covered by the said Open General Licence which have been despatched on through consignment to India on or before the 20th May 1949 ( including the grace period) will be treated as having been imported thereunder .
